Recommended by Family Fun magazine "Songwriter Jeff Moyer has crafted a challenging musical project designed to teach kids tolerance and understanding of people with disabilities - or of anyone who is different...The activity book/audio is recommended"

Recommended by Perspectives Magazine "Jeff Moyer, in his teaching resource book We’re People First uses music to promote informed and positive attitudes about disabilities...While there are certainly individual songs available that address diversity, this is the only resource I have found that combines songs and specific lesson plans teaching about disability and diversity. This resource will be particularly valuable for those schools and agencies who are striving to develop an informed philosophy of full inclusion for all students." Kathleen A. Coleman, RMT-BC Private Practice, Grapevine, Texas

As reviewed in Link Magazine, Australia "As more and more students with difference learn in mainstream schools, many families and teachers are faced with the need for symbols that celebrate the advantage of diversity...Such a resource is available in a bright new songbook and CD package proclaiming the good things about being different in song. The book, music and lyrics were written by Jeff Moyer in the USA. It’s been thoroughly road-tested with students, communities and young performing groups in cities, rural areas and from every socio-economic group. The songs are upbeat popular musical styles, fun to sing and full of high energy."

"The well-produced, inspiring and beautifully arranged songs on CD or tape may be reason enough to add these recordings to your collection."Lori Lundeen Smith, RMT-BC, 1996 President of the Ohio Association for Music Therapy
