How Big
Is Your Circle? is a meaningful new musical for performances by grades
3 through 8, which addresses the healing of exclusion, ridicule, and violence
against children with differences, who are devalued within school communities.
"Circle" is a powerful, realistic, and positive play with 8 songs, which affirm
the wholeness of all students and the importance of courage, forgiveness and
community among children and young people.
The play, with
accompanying classroom discussion guide, is a flexible creative resource, which
can be used for classroom discussion, full school performance with chorus and
string orchestra, or in any smaller production arrangement. The work includes
the script, 88 page score, activity guide and beautifully produced CD with accompaniment
tracks and full model performance by youth chorus and string orchestra.
